Job Description
- Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, and best practices to optimize product quality and minimize defects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and procurement, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to quality team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Analyse quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Communicate quality-related issues, findings, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, quality control plans, and corrective action logs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role in quality assurance/control.
- Proven experience working with international brands and familiarity with international quality standards and requirements.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
