Job Description
Maintain Health & Safety as Safety Act; maintain good housekeeping.
• Create & modify total systems.
• Provide training.
• Maintain training records.
• Achieve training targets.
• Conduct Informal audits, i.e. when walking around the department observe if employees are following procedure, faults on machines, machinery & equipment being abused. etc.
• Willing to learn and be trained as well as also to develop other people.
• Finding ways to make machinery and equipment more effective and efficient as well designing and implementing modifications to improve machinery and equipment.
• Undertake any reasonable task.
• Solve quality problems.
• Continually investigate ways to improve overall departmental/company performance.
• Reduce/eliminate ALL things that prevent the employees in doing their work (responsibilities) in the minimum time e.g. looking for things, doing things twice, waiting on decision, waiting for work, correct and or no equipment/tools available
• In the absence of the manager, take over the role of the manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in textile product development, manufacturing, dye house
- Strong knowledge of textile materials, processes, and testing methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
