Job Description
* Manage and configure firewall devices
and policies to protect against
unauthorized access and threats.
* Implement and maintain Web Application
Firewalls (WAF) to safeguard web
applications from attacks.
* Administer SD-WAN technology to
optimize network performance and
security across multiple locations.
* Oversee antivirus solutions to ensure
comprehensive protection against
malware and other threats.
* Configure and manage Network
Detection and Response (NDR) systems
to monitor and respond to network
anomalies.
* Design and implement network
architecture and infrastructure to support
hospital operations.
* Monitor network performance and
troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable
connectivity and uptime.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and standards related to
network security.
* Respond to security incidents and
breaches, conducting investigations and
implementing remediation measures.
* Develop and maintain incident response
plans and procedures.
* Work closely with SOC team to
understand requirements and provide
technical support.
* Prepare and present reports on network
and security performance, incidents, and
compliance.
* Stay updated on the latest security
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology or a related field (or
equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience in network and security
engineering, with hands-on experience in
managing firewalls, WAF, SD-WAN, antivirus
solutions, and NDR systems.
Strong understanding of network protocols,
security best practices, and regulatory
requirements (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare).
* Proficiency with network security tools and
technologies, including but not limited to [Palo
Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Kasper,NDR,F5,... etc.].
* Experience with network and security
troubleshooting, including the ability to
analyze logs and identify potential threats.
* Relevant certifications such as CCNP
Security, CEH,CISSP or equivalent are highly
desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to
work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a healthcare
environment is a plus.
* Knowledge of cloud security, HCI and
virtualization technologies.
