Job Description

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Business Developer is responsible to analyze the current state of the firm, develop a tailored plan to address challenges, create a roadmap for future growth opportunities and execute business growth activities.

This will be achieved by working in collaboration with the Senior Management and all internal cross functions to ensure that business growth activities are aligned to the firm's objectives, and by developing strategic proposals that will enhance the firm’s performance and increase revenue accordingly.

 

Job Description

  • Identify and map business strengths, market and customer needs
  • Study business opportunities and viable revenue streams
  • Participate in creating growth opportunities and marketing plans; focusing both on brand positioning, customer satisfaction and profit gain
  • Develop and implement business development / growth activities
  • Work with the marketing team to capture future growth opportunities with clients early in the process, ideating around a growth roadmap at the client level
  • Participate in internal kickoffs with the operations team and external kickoffs with targeted clients
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing and new clients
  • Prepare regular reports to Head of Growth detailing new and sustained business opportunities
  • Design deal proposals according to business and growth strategy

Job Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years of experience
  • English fluency
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Excellent e-mail etiquette skills
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Capable of presenting and closing deals is a plus 
  • Previous experience in L&D/Education fields is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the coaching/education industries and their current events is a plus
