Lead and manage R&D projects for developing and improving products in HVACR and home appliances.
Design, evaluate, and validate new products and implement design changes to meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and an effective material coding system.
Collaborate with Production and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure the quality and functionality of finished products.
Provide technical support and documentation for the Marketing Department, including product specifications and performance data.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
Manage and train junior engineers and technicians as needed to meet project goals.
Conduct supplier assessments for critical components and collaborate with the Procurement team to source quality materials.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Inventor (extensive experience required) and familiarity with other CAD software such as Auto CAD or Solid Works.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles.
Experience in designing and optimizing HVACR systems (e.g., condensing units, heat exchangers, piping kits).
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to sheet metal, plastic injection molding, and copper components.
Advanced Microsoft Office workspace

Strong leadership and project management skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

Hands-on experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) or simulation tools.
Familiarity with ISO or local compliance standards for HVACR and home appliances.
Previous experience in a similar role within an R&D team or manufacturing environment.
