Job Description

As the Tax Manager at GIG Egypt, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with all local and international tax regulations while contributing to our financial integrity and strategic growth. You will lead the preparation and submission of tax forms, oversee tax operations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues. Your expertise in tax compliance, reporting, and analysis will be crucial in supporting the financial objectives of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Taxes Operations & Compliance:

  • Responsible for preparing tax forms on Online Tax website and paying monthly taxes (VAT, Payroll, Foreign Entities, Commission Payroll tax), also preparing forms and payments for proportional and dimensional stamps.
  • Responsible for paying monthly (Social insurance, martyr honor fund, Emergency fund, comprehensive health insurance fund).
  • Responsible for preparing Quarterly and yearly tax forms and payments for Withholding Tax, development fees, supervision fees, income tax and proportional stamp yearly share.
  • Responsible for preparing tax certificates for vendors and brokers.
  • Prepare electronic tax invoice.
  • Communicating with Tax consultant regarding monthly payments and pending issues.
  • Ensure timely submission of audit disclosures and reports.
  • Responsible for tax inspections process with guidance from the tax consultant whether documentation or analysis or other issues required.

 

2. Financial Processing and Reporting:

  • Prepare related accounting entries.
  • Responsible for required analysis and details required by internal auditors, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare all reports on Taxes whether statutory and parent company.

 

3. Communication and Documentation:

  • Very Good English skills to interact with external and internal customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Track and report on operational performance.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (previous experience in taxation is a must).
  2. Experience:
    • At least 6 years of experience in taxes within the insurance or financial industry.
    • Basic knowledge with Global Taxation & transfer pricing.
  3. Analytical Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  4. Time Management:
    • Ability to manage and meet deadlines, work efficiently under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent team-working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
