Job Description

As part of supporting its growth, Spectrum Groupe is seeking a Technical Consultant to join our office in
Egypt. The ideal candidate is someone who will show initiative and leadership to help Spectrum Groupe
-the leading Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner in the MENA region.

 In this position, you’ll report to the Country Manager and work directly with Spectrum Groupe customers to implement Atlassian applications such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and others. 


Preferred to have experience/knowledge with the Atlassian products (Cloud and On-Premise : Jira,
Confluence, Bitbucket). 

You must be comfortable working directly with customers and partners,
meeting tight deadlines, multitasking and context switching, be able to excel in a fast-paced
environment, and show the ability to fast learn and to work collaboratively with a wider international
team.  

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or other related technical
    field.
  • Experience of 2 to 5 years as a Technical Consultant or Integrator of software solutions. 
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong Experience as System admin with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Preferred to have experience in Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) in a professional capacity,
  • preferably in combination with business analysis experience.
  • Experience in a technical role, preferably in a software environment working with Java, J2EE, and JVM
    troubleshooting.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle DB, SQL Server, MySQL or Postgresql).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Groovy, Bash).
  • Ability to understand a customer’s business objectives, vision, goals, and to translate these into application.
  • Knowledge / Curious about the ITSM business, ITIL principles, and Agile methods (Scrum, KANBAN, Lean, etc.)
  • Preferred to have experience in network and web servers (i.e.Tomcat, Apache, SSL proxy server IIS,
    HAProxy).
  • Preferred to hold certifications related to Atlassian products.
  • English professional level in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong writing skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
