Job Description
Technical Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair operations within the workshop to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Conduct quality control inspections to uphold service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the parts department to procure necessary spare parts and materials for vehicle repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage and labor hours.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs upon arrival at the workshop.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and issues.
- Provide clear explanations of recommended services, repair estimates, and timelines to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule vehicle repairs based on customer preferences and workshop capacity.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience from drop-off to vehicle pickup, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience working in an automotive service workshop, with expertise in both technical and customer service roles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
