Job Description
Core Responsibilities in jeans manufacturing:
- Pattern Development: Creating and modifying pattern pieces for jeans designs using specialized pattern-making software and techniques.
- Marker Making: Arranging the pattern pieces on the fabric in the most efficient way to minimize fabric waste. This requires strong skills in using Excel or other spreadsheet software to plan and optimize the marker layouts.
- Technical Documentation: Maintaining detailed technical documentation, including pattern specifications, grading information, and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the design, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure the patterns and markers meet the design intent and production requirements.
- Data Analysis: Using Excel and other data analysis tools to track metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve the pattern development and marker-making processes.
- Revise patterns based on feedback
- Section: The CAD design team.
Job Requirements
- Past experience in a similar role preferably strong technical experience in trousers/ pants
