Job Description
- day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks/transfers and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit;
- generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly
- Coordinate with the Tech teams for correct and timely data reports generation
- Validate the data reports and utilize for month closing and reporting reports
- Comparing marketplace settlement statements to our books to ensure all refunds given are proper, and were approved/authorized by us.
- Creating a flow system for creating and monitoring cases made on the marketplaces to ensure we are properly reimbursed when needed.
- Audit Carrier Charges to ensure the amounts quoted in our shipping software match our bills
- Continuing to improve the payment process
Job Requirements
- Min 2 Years experience in accounts payable, payment applications, or accounting is required.
- A degree in Accounting/Finance would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career:
- Fast learner who follows instructions and responds to management direction
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- an understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to professionally discuss payment concerns with customers both internal and external
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong problem resolution and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
