Job Description
For a leading multinational telecommunication company:
- To carry out standard Operations activities within the Backup team in accordance with defined operating processes and procedures.
- Perform Backups, Archival and restoration Troubleshoot backups related issue Perform maintenance activity on Library odometers, power cycling, Drive reset Firmware upgrade for Drives and Library Patching backup software and install/configure backups Perform support taken on activity for New severs Perform Test Restoration every week Monitor backups on daily basis Generate backups reports on a daily basis CommServ DR recovery.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 Years of relevant experience
- Excellent hands on experience and Administration of IBM TSM.
- Day to day backup report review and take corrective action based on error code
- Knowledge on gaps assessment on existing and suggest for improvements
- Stronge knowledge and hands on using TSM tool via command line
- Automation knowledge on TSM tool and bring the efficient way for managing the recurrence task on backup domain
- Good understanding on DR design
