Job Description

1. Creating a database of hotels 
2. Contacting hotels to introduce yourself and set up preferred rate and commission agreements.
3. Asking hotels for images for our social media in return for a night or 2 stay for either myself or you 
4. Taking client hotel requests.. asking the hotels for rates.. all rated must be checked to make sure they are lower then booking.com and the hotels website., if they are not you must ask the hotel the amend. 
We also ask for extra amenities: early/late checkout, upgrades and breakfast included where possible.. on top of the discount 
5. We take 10% commission from hotels 
You will be required to follow up for rates as we aim to provide all clients with the rates within 48 hours 
6. A list of hotels in the city must be sent on first ladies beaded paper (will be provided to you)
7. You will be required to then complete the booking and invoice  the hotel for commission at the appropriate time. 
We do not taking money on behalf of hotels.. hotels must take payment from clients themselves 
8. You may be required to travel occasionally to see hotels or to attend hotel exhibitions

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Travel Agent/cooridanator/hotel administrator 
  • knowledge of computer reservations systems
  • Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
  • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively 
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field 
  • Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
