Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Food Scientist / Food Technologist to join our team, focusing on ingredient analysis and ensuring product quality, specifically for our unique powdered drink product. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, ensuring regulatory compliance, and determining the best instantizing agents to enhance the performance of our powdered beverage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ingredient Analysis: Perform chemical and microbiological tests on our powdered drink, identifying and quantifying components such as vitamins, minerals, sweeteners, and preservatives using advanced techniques like HPLC, GC-MS, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure our drink product meets all regulatory standards and complies with food safety protocols. Oversee quality control processes.
• Product Development: Identify and recommend the best instantizing agents for our powdered beverage to ensure optimal dissolvability and consumer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a food lab, particularly in ingredient identification and quality assurance.
• Skills: Expertise in lab techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR), knowledge of food safety regulations, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Note: All work will be based on our powdered drink product, and the job winner will receive a sample to begin their analysis and development work.
