We are a fast-growing software development and high-technology company headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, with branches in New York, Delaware, and other states of the USA. We are featured on CNN, Yahoo Finance, Fox TV news, and New York Times. Our platforms include FinTech (financial technology), e-commerce, shopping, shipping, and traveling. 

We are looking for a couple of operational Accountants who are fluent in English, proficient in excel, hard-working, CFO business-oriented mindset, and cross-department communication so that together we can drive sales revenue as the top line, minimize any financial loss, or reduce expenses by continuing operational efficiency and system automation. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with good communication skills, strong learning ability, and some financial and accounting background. Be a team player for daily operations. Able to be flexible on the day or night shift. 

The location of this position is the Egypt Office at 26th of July Corridor between Arkan plaza and Hyper One, Sheikh Zayed City

About the role

  • Understand the goal of tasks and be able to manage tasks on time, be persistent, and be consistent.
  • Business-oriented, willing to help cross-team on any tasks assigned.
  • Be innovative. Seek improvement areas, and transform routine tasks into automated and higher efficient ones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any problem across any accounting and operational impact.
  • Participate in the creation and improvement of internal policies, procedures, and guidelines relating to HR, Finance, Marketing, and Customer service.
  • Develop good and respected relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate, courteous, and efficient financial service & support.
  • Work closely with members within finance, and rest members across different departments to meet the performance targets for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, productivity, and quality of services
  • Be flexible to work with the supervisor on higher priority tasks and escalations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bilingual Arabic/English is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • People-oriented with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Proficient in Excel and good email communication are required
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills.
  • Sales and marketing oriented with box critical thinking
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a changing environment
  • Strong learning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and good time management skills.
  • Good Excel skills
  • Working schedule 5 days a week - (9 PM to 6 AM) (12 PM to 9 PM)
  • Live within 1 hour of the office at 22 Avenue (26th of July Corridor, Sheikh Zayed City, Giza Governorate 3247604, Egypt)

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Information Technology, shipping/ E-commerce / Tourism/ banking industries is a big plus.
  • An audit or internal audit background is preferred but not required
