Avionics Technician - Etihad Engineering

Synopsis

Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical/avionics  maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.

Accountabilities

• Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
• Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
• Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
• Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
• Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
• Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
• Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
• Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective

Education & Experience

• High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
• Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training
• 3 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in relevant trade Avionics /Electrical  maintenance
