Job Description
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. Dashboards tools and reporting tools)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Work with internal clients to understand their business needs and requirements for Power BI solutions
- Design and develop business intelligence dashboards using Power BI or any other requested BI tool that meet client needs
- Create reports, charts, graphs, and tables using Power BI, SSRS, for effective data visualization
- Conduct Power BI training sessions for clients, ensuring that they are skilled in using the platform
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Proficient in creating data visualizations using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Industry experience is preferred
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
