Job Description

  1. Responsible for all engineering work in the company, being the only representative coordinator with company's consultants. Also, it is responsible for designing, rearranging and executing new products lines/building requirements.
  2. Responsible for maintaining process and utility equipment as well as company's building.
  3. Instructs, follows up and shares the responsibility of Electricity engineer, mechanical production engineer, energies & utilities mechanical engineer.
  4. Applies the standards and regulations in all engineering works and arrange the ordering of spare parts from local and aboard.
  5. Stating of specifications for needed projects and equipment.
  6. Follows up and cooperates with consultants about new projects.
  7. Supervise the site works in order to assure the proper occupancy of the personal.
  8. Shares with responsible engineer for reducing energy losses.
  9. Approves the inspection and maintenance program from the responsible engineer.
  10. Plans the modifications of the Pharma production lines to match with GMP and to increase the capacities.
  11. Updates the machine list, quarterly.
  12. Executing Global Quality standards for equipment (identification of equipment, equipment qualification and calibration, preventive maintenance program).
  13. Applies the industrial safety rules.
  14. Maintains and coordinates planning requirements in coordination with production programs.
  15. Participates in production planning design with the production manager.
  16. Estimates and follows up department budget.
  17. Solves engineering and technical problems related to production equipment.
  18. Takes actions and decisions concerning modifications requirements to the equipment, temporary supplies.
  19. Supervises controls, motivates and evaluates subordinates. 
  20. Conducts feasibility study to new product lines. 
  21. Submits work-related report to the technical director periodically.
  22. Members of the technical executive committee, training committee and technical committee for the purpose of discussing and planning to the technical directorate objectives.
  23. Member of the industrial production committee and industrial safety committee.
  24. Administers department workflow relations.
  25. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering 
  • Related Experience: 10 years’ experience (at least) in related position.
  • Special knowledge/Skills: 
    1. Able to communicate through knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing process according to GMP 
    2. Challenge personality 
    3. Leadership and planning skills
    4. Wide experience in pharmaceutical industry
    5. Good command of English
    6. Good computer skills
