Job Description
- Manages accounting functions and preparation of reports and statistics detailing financial results.
- Establishes and maintains accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
- Supervises professional and/or clerical accounting employees.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies and procedures.
- Have the ability to coordinate with other department to insure keeping the required good workflow.
- Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
- conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
- arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities
- Review & approve payment vouchers, journal entries, Sub-contractors A/C & controlling the inventory.
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, GAAP & Taxes law.
- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure that accounting activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
- Prepare the monthly Trial Balance & Financial statements including all month-end accruals.
- Support the financial manager including any other requirements / reports assigned to him.
Job Requirements
- Years of experience: 9+ years (at least 4 of them in construction Field).
- Qualifications required: Bachelor of commerce.
- Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of computer skills, MS Office suite and accounting software.
- Good in English Language.
- Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
- Must have good knowledge of accounting techniques and principles, and should be good in planning & organizing
- Skills: Cooperation inside Team Work and Reporting Research Results, Confidentiality, flexibility & adaptation for changes, Time Management, Data Entry Management.
