Job Description
- Manage Kashier’s most critical partnerships with acquiring and issuing banks, focusing on defining and executing a strategy to deepen Kashier’s relationships with such partners, and enable the optimization of existing and launch of new offerings for Kashier users.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including legal, finance, product, risk, engineering, compliance, and treasury) in crafting thoughtful strategies for engaging and partnering with banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure Kashier’s senior-most executives are aligned with the strategy you develop, consistently working with Kashier leadership to transform top company goals into partnership strategies, and influence company-wide decisions that affect the direction of products, processes, or the betterment of Kashier overall.
- Own relationships with banks’ executives, navigating the organizations they lead to educate key partner contacts about Kashier’s value proposition, further develop Kashier’s understanding of their interests and needs, and identify/execute complex commercial deals that support Kashier’s strategic objectives
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate post-deal implementation/integration plans are put in place in the course of the deal process.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a preference for experience in Banking, Payments, and Financial Institutions.
- A proven track record of business development, partnerships, and strategic project management.
- Strong product instincts and ability to identify opportunities for Kashier to leverage partners’ existing and in-development products, as well as the ability to collaborate with Kashier’s Product and Engineering organization to build world-class features for our users
- A solid network of banking and payments executives is a plus.
- Broad and deep experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models with payment partners
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide insight to various internal stakeholders across the business
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to independently drive complex negotiations to completion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – including the ability to speak to different constituencies such as business development, product, engineering, and sales internally and externally
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
- Fluent in Arabic and English
