Job Description
- Lead the planning and scheduling activities for water treatment projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Develop, implement, and monitor detailed project plans, resource allocation, and workflow processes for the water treatment section.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
- Analyze project progress, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, project schedules, and resource plans in compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and supervise planning team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all planning and execution phases.
- Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and project variations, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and methodologies for project planning and control.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years and up to 7 years of relevant experience in planning, preferably within the water treatment or utilities sector.
- Proven experience in leading planning teams or sections in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, planning tools, and scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental regulations relevant to water treatment projects.
- Ability to work on-site (office-based arrangement) and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
