Procurement Duties:

· Source and evaluate local and international suppliers for materials and services.

· Review purchase requisitions, request quotations, and negotiate favorable terms (pricing, delivery, payment).

· Monitor and follow up with suppliers for timely submission of invoices and required documentation.

· Coordinate with finance to ensure supplier payments are processed on time and resolve any related issues.

· Evaluate supplier performance and maintain updated approved vendor lists.

· Ensure compliance with Free Zone procurement policies and internal procedures.

· Support cost-reduction, supplier development, and contract management initiatives.

Logistics Duties:

· Oversee import and export logistics including documentation, freight booking, and delivery tracking.

· Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo clearance.

· Manage customs clearance according to Free Zone laws and ensure proper documentation (BL, invoice, COO, etc.).

· Maintain records of shipments and prepare required logistics reports and KPIs (lead times, freight cost, OTIF).

· Optimize logistics operations and costs while ensuring delivery performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, Logistics,, or a related field.
4 to 8 years of progressive experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
Solid understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation processes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in procurement and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
