Job Description
- Customs brokers help importers and exporters understand and meet the rules and regulations put in place by the federal government with regard to the trade industry. They educate clients about customs regulations, international tariffs, shipping restrictions, and insurance requirements.
- Other duties often include guiding goods through customs, preparing and submitting documents, determining tariff and duty payments, tracking shipments, and using the tariff coding system to classify shipments. Customs brokers might work as independent contractors and at airports, as well as within transportation, freight, and other companies that transport products internationally.
- Monitor all processes and ensure compliance to all Federal regulations and custom duties.
- Administer all personnel, ensure appropriate training to all employees and maintain knowledge on all regulatory changes.
- Monitor work of all import personnel and increase competency of all employees and ensure optimal level of customer services.
- Perform audits on transactions and ensure compliance to all customs brokerage transactions.
- Analyze process and design procedures to reduce operating costs for import businesses and design various improvement activities.
- Manage current work processes and initiate procedures to reduce downtime and ensure compliance to service measures.
- Coordinate with various departments and maintain compliance to all import operations.
- Prepare required documents and procedures according to customer standards and ensure compliance to service requirements.
- Manage and assist to resolve all customer queries and ensure resolution of all problems.
- Administer all processes and ensure continuous improvement to all to provide optimal level of services to customer.
- Gather and collate various commercial data and prepare required reports.
- Perform regular assessment of all harmonized tariff division and perform assessment on same.
- Maintain knowledge on all industry rules and regulations and perform all custom duties.
- Monitor all new regulatory issues and inform employees and branch on same.

- Experience in Automotive Clearance
- Customs broke's license
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Negotiation skills
- Very good command of English Language
