Job Description
We are looking for an experienced production specialist with exposure in hot chamber (zinc) die-casting industry. This candidate must be willing to act as a manager, production planner, and have a keen eye to spot defects and minimize them.
- Troubleshoot and implement the corrective actions for casting quality issues.
- Assist and guide the mould designers to develop the most optimum castings for manufacturing.
- Manage die-casting team and train production operators in new processes or in the use of equipment.
- Create product change requests, permission notes, work orders and work instructions as required.
- Quality Control is essential.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree with a major in engineering, manufacturing, business or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience/ exposure in the hot chamber dye-casting industry.
- Knowledge of Zinc Dye Casting process – Experience with Structural Castings and Alloys a plus.
- Knowledge of various molding processes, tools and materials.
- Must have good judgment, be well organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to seeking opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Supervise shift.
