Job Description
- Liaising with clients and Account Managers to understand the project requirements, client's core objectives and target audience to interpret copywriting briefs
- Familiarizing him/herself with the clients' products and services, the target audience and their competitors' activities
- Brainstorming visuals and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
- Developing concepts and creative ideas in partnership with the Creative Director
- Writing clear, concise, persuasive and original copy
- Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
- Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets
- Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
- Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree from a related field of study
- Minimum 2 years of proven and solid experience in copywriting, copyediting or content creation with a portfolio/ content sample reference
- Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar
- Familiarity with commonly used style guides
- High Commercial awareness and the ability to understand distinct target audiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal and time management skills
- Professionally resilient in criticism acceptance
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to details skills
