Job Description
- Supervise the preparation of project plans and schedule.
- Study the project documents and prepare the Contractor's offer including quantity surveying, cost estimate...etc.
- Planning and maintaining project budget and schedules.
- Supervise the preparation of shop drawings.
- Resolve technical issues.
- Review the invoices (clients and subcontractors).
- Report on project progress until the successful handing over of the project.
- Follow-up with contractor's consultants on producing the shop-drawings.
- Review and prepare engineering submitting.
- Take part in the selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for projects.
- Preparation of comparisons to sub-contractors and suppliers (technical + finance) and analysis of prices, select the category that will be included in the tender
- Review invoices of subcontractors and material request from Sites
- Coordinate with technical office engineers on-site on providing progress reports.
- Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments
- Reviewing the QS of executed activities.
- Maintain organized and detailed records and documents of all projects (i.e. working drawings, quantity surveying, purchase orders … etc.) and coordinate with different teams to get these documents issued.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Strong project management and negotiation skills.
