Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer to lead the server-side development of our platform. You’ll work closely with our frontend and product teams to build robust, scalable, and secure backend systems that power our mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate is experienced in architecting APIs, managing databases, and optimizing performance at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support frontend functionality
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Manage database architecture, migrations, and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product planning and implementation
- Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, and alerting
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

- 4+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express/Nest.js) or another modern backend framework
- Experience designing APIs and working with frontend engineers
- Deep understanding of databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Firebase)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, or Heroku)
- Experience with authentication/authorization systems (e.g., OAuth2, JWT)
- Proficient in Git and working in a collaborative development environment
