Job Description

Scope:

Manage the overall finances and accounts of the company. Oversee financial planning, accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis. Ensure financial compliance, financial controls and optimize use of financial resources.

 

DTRs:

  • Manage the accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions of the company.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management accounts and statutory reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation and cash flow management.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze variances and take corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Handle financing requirements, cash management and investment decisions.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies and accounting procedures. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions. Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects/investments.
  • Manage the annual financial audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee inventory and asset management functions. Drive optimization of working capital.
  • Perform risk management including currency risk, interest rate risk, credit risk.
  • Train and develop the finance and accounts team. Monitor team performance and developmental needs.
  • Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

General Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience specifically in the finance field within the industrial sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, financial reporting, analysis and compliance.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software like SAP, Oracle.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Works collaboratively across functions and maintains confidentiality.
