Job Description
- WordPress Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues.
- Frontend Development:
- Convert designs into responsive WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with designers and content teams to implement visually appealing and functional interfaces.
- Backend Development:
- Develop custom plugins and functionalities using PHP and WordPress APIs.
- Manage and enhance database interactions, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Laravel (Preferred/Plus):
- Collaborate on Laravel-based projects, leveraging PHP knowledge for application development.
- Integrate Laravel systems with WordPress where applicable.
- Develop APIs and manage third-party integrations within Laravel projects.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Perform regular updates to WordPress core, plugins, and themes.
- Monitor and improve website uptime, speed, and security.
- Provide technical support to stakeholders and resolve bugs promptly.
Job Requirements
- Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (minimum of 2+ years).
- Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and filters.
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques (performance, security, SEO).
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git version control and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus.
