Job Description
- Perform Oracle database maintenance activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching and backup and recovery of all databases.
- Monitor and report on database performance and capacity and provide trend analysis for all environments.
- Implement and administer database security, tuning and optimization to ensure database availability and data integrity.
- Install, configure, and utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for managing and monitoring the database and hosted server environments.
- Cold/Hot Backups
- Clone instances
- Using Oracle Open Interface tables and Public APIs.
- Developing high performing custom PL/SQL programs.
- Good understanding of programming principles involved in Batch and real-time integrations.
Job Requirements
- University degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with implementing and/or upgrading Oracle EBS R12 as a Technical/ DBA role.
- RDBMS and Oracle DB concepts.
- Oracle EBS Application Object Library (AOL).
- Good AIX/Linux/UNIX OS Experience.
- SQL, PL/SQL programming.
- Good experience on Oracle Databases 12C and 19C.
- Oracle EBS DB (table level) Entity Relationship understanding is a plus.
- Using Oracle Open Interface tables and Public APIs is a plus
