Job Description

  • Providing and interpreting financial information
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
  • Analyzing change and advising accordingly
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditor's, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
  • Managing and developing  budgets
  • Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Supervising staff
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, CMA , MBA is required
  • Proficient user of finance software (SAP)
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • Preferred Manufacturing background
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
