Job Description
Project Coordination and Implementation:
- Assist in planning and overseeing project activities to ensure timely and successful implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, addressing any delays or challenges.
- Coordinate with clinic managers, approval team leader, field and support teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
Team Supervision:
- Provide leadership and guidance to project staff, ensuring high levels of performance.
- Facilitate training and capacity-building sessions to strengthen team competencies.
- Resolve operational issues and provide on-ground support as required.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor project progress using predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- preparing periodic reports, including progress updates, challenges, and recommendations.
- Conduct field visits to evaluate the quality of services and identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including partners, donors, and government entities.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with UNHCR and other relevant organizations.
- Represent the project in external meetings and discussions when required.
Resource Management:
- Support in managing project resources, including financial, human, and logistical aspects, to ensure efficient use.
- Assist in procurement processes and inventory management for project-related materials.
- Ensure adherence to the project’s budget and financial policies.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure project activities comply with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Promote adherence to ethical standards and data protection policies.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or NGOs.
- Experience working on projects involving refugees or vulnerable populations is an asset.
