Job Description
- Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Supervise and monitoring subordinate staff to be sure that all tasks and assignments are completely achieved in due time and in accordance with the company policy and scope of work.
- Implement schedule or policy changes for shipping services.
- Supervise how the shipping staff reply to different agency appointments.
- Supervise the sequence of work for different consignments and spare parts.
- Collaborate with other managers or staff members to promote, formulate and implement services and objectives of the Shipping Department.
- Provide administrative or technical assistance to newly hired shipping staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in commerce or any related field
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Excellent computer proficiency
- 5+ years experience in same filed
- Excellent leadership skills and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Punctuality and organization
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines problem solving skills
- Additional courses in same field or related areas such as chartering, marine accounting will be favorable & taken into consideration.
