Job Description
The position aims at supporting the business and the Cluster legal counsel/ Head of Contract Management in all legal matters requiring senior legal expertise, in particular:
Key accountabilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks
- Support the business in all legal and contractual matters including claim management, dispute settlement
- Support bid teams during tender process including contractual and legal evaluation of tender documents
- Support the business in proactively managing and instructing litigation, arbitration or other dispute matters
- Handling of corporate law matters
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Job Requirements
- Law degree in business law (Master II)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
- Familiar with international contracts
- previous exposure to international practice through studies or work experience
- Familiar with public tenders
- Excellent English language skills
- Fluent in English language
- Good drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in complex and international organization
