Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance, improve profitability, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions to support day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate strategic opportunities, assess risks, and make informed decisions to drive sustainable growth.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities, to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or equivalent leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of strategic financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems implementation and proficiency in financial software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and motivating high-performing teams.
