Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  2. Lead the financial planning and budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
  3. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance, improve profitability, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  4. Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions to support day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
  5. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate strategic opportunities, assess risks, and make informed decisions to drive sustainable growth.
  7. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities, to maintain transparency and accountability.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or equivalent leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  3. Proven track record of strategic financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  5. Experience with ERP systems implementation and proficiency in financial software applications.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  7. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities with a solutions-oriented mindset.
