Job Description
- The candidate will spearhead all Private equity activities of the firm in terms of identifying and sourcing the right opportunities and growing the PE portfolio , protecting existing investments.
- Additionally he must posses the right skills to build and maintain financial models, evaluating investment proposals, contributing in the due diligence and supporting the CEO & MD of the company in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of Principal Investments.
- His responsibilities will encompass
- Preparing financial models and sensitivities, reviewing external sources of due diligence on principal investments, and supporting CEO & MD in the assessment, structuring and negotiation of principal investments.
- He will further perform financial analysis and due diligence on principal investments and external managers for the company's private equity investment pools.
- He will prepare/supervise the preparation of investment proposal presentations and memorandums to be presented to the Investment Committee of the firm.
Job Requirements
- MBA/CFA or relevant professional certificate is desirable.
- 6-7 years experience in the investment arena across sectors and has worked for a reputable Investment bank, Private Equity fund manager, Asset Management firm in Egypt or abroad.
- Experience of both direct principal investments and indirect fund investments would be preferable.
- Thorough understanding of valuation methods including the building of sophisticated financial models.
- Good experience of doing due diligence, structuring and legal documentation negotiation
- Good understanding of investing as a Limited Partner (LP) in various Funds M
- Multi-tasking.
- Ability to handle many priorities at the same time and fluency in English and Arabic.
