A leading regional renewable energy firm is looking for a Chief Business Developer. This person will be heading the entire commercial activities at our group of energy companies. He/she will be managing the commercial team at every company of the group and will be responsible for developing the commercial team at each company in a manner that suits the requirement for each business activity.
We are looking for a proactive natural leader who is ready to go the extra mile in order to explore and understand the market. We are looking for an individual capable of building business models and closing deals, the candidate should be a self starter willing to do sales himself/herself as a method to prove the validity of a business model. We want a person who is a self starter who required minimal management and who is willing to scale the company to global markets.
The company is providing services and products that are not conventional to the market and this means its commercial team has to go through an extra mile to make sure our clients understand the value addition, it also means our commercial team needs to work harder on identifying viable business models and on scaling them up.
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in business development and sales.
- Previous experience in senior business development or commercial roles.
- Ideal candidate has at least 10 years of professional experience.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
