Job Description
- Handling company External purchase orders with foreign suppliers and Search for new suppliers.
- Ensure issuing purchasing orders compliance with Suppliers agreements and contracts and preparing import approval papers .
- Daily follow-up for all shipments.
- Ensure that suppliers deliver on time and resolve issues with suppliers when shipments delayed.
- Negotiating with Shipping companies to meet demands and minimize shipping cost.
- Receiving and revising shipping documents of each shipment and make sure it matches the order requirements.
- Reviewing Suppliers statement of accounts and follow up with finance department.
- Responsible for appropriate supplier selection/bidding processes for selected purchase requests, and supplier and contract pricing validation for all purchase requests under category management responsibility.
- Responsible for supplier communication to resolve transaction issues.
- Responsible for resolving invoice price and terms discrepancies to enable order processing
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or Veterinary
- One year experience in the same position
- Very good English language speaking, writing and reading.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- A flair for negotiation and networking
- Tact and diplomacy
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
