Job Description
- Supervise the general activities of the Sales Team or a particular section of it, as directed
- Assist the Sales Manager in the recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria
- Assist the Sales Manager in training and appraising individual team members to ensure targets are met
- Reporting (content and format as agreed) monthly to the Sales Manager
- Prepare presentations
- Assist the sales Manager in maintaining contact with clients/customers for feedback and to obtain client/customer satisfaction
- Set an example for team members of commitment, sales activities, work ethics, habits, and personal character
- Maintain accurate records of leads/prospects, pricing, sale,s and activities
- Control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
- interact and co-operate with all members of the organisation and its suppliers and clients/customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred
- Five years' previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field
- Demonstrated and proven sales results
- Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts; may include entering and tracking merchandise, scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Focused on customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
- Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers' needs and provide the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
