Job Description
- Assist in the development and execution of trade marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with brand and sales teams to create tailored promotional programs for different trade channels (retailers, distributors, wholesalers).
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, activations, and point-of-sale (POS) displays to enhance product visibility.
- Work with Ad agencies to develop marketing materials such as brochures, displays, banners, and other promotional assets.
- Ensure timely and effective distribution of marketing collateral to trade partners.
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and analyze market trends to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
- Provide regular reports on campaign results, including ROI, sales growth, and market share improvements.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the trade market.
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between trade marketing activities and sales targets.
- Provide input and support in negotiating and managing relationships with key trade partners.
- Assist in managing trade marketing budgets and ensuring activities are within allocated resources.
- Track spending and provide updates on budget utilization.
Trade Marketing
- Coordinate and assist in the planning of trade shows, product launches, and customer events.
- Ensure successful execution of events that promote brand awareness and sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors to maximize brand presence in key trade locations.
- Conduct regular visits to retail stores to monitor implementation of trade marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery of marketing programs.
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams for online-to-offline (O2O) marketing campaigns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with retail environments, POS systems, and marketing execution tools.
- Knowledge of trade marketing strategies and execution.
- Experience with promotional planning and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
