Job Description
- You will write scalable front-ends for our applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (or anything that ends up compiling to that), in clear, modular manner.
- You'll work with designers and usability engineers in taking UX/UI decisions that lead to a better user experience because that’s your ultimate goal.
- You will work with the backend engineers in making decisions that would have to align with your front-end strategy
- Work with UI designers to convert their work into responsive web applications using HTML5/CSS3/Javascript that work across all major browsers.
- Work with back-end engineers to integrate the front-end with the back-end
- Work with product managers to ensure product requirements will be captured in your end result
- Produce efficient and reusable front-ends
- Participate in UI/UX design
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks on the front-end.
Job Requirements
- Strong JavaScript background with experience in libraries like jQuery, AngularJS.
- Strong HTML background with experience in frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser markup and layout.
- Good knowledge of CSS3 and CSS Pre-processer like Sass or Less.
- Good knowledge of single page applications is a plus.
- Experience in implementing Front end business applications is a plus.
- Ability to interact with QC personnel during system testing phases.
- Passion to stay current on new web technologies.
- Some experience with source control system like GIT is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
