IT Technical Support Specialist Job Vacancy in an International Schools
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of Operational Center network equipment (including a daily checklist report).
- Resolving all network support tickets received from staff
- Reviewing and updating Operational Centre network equipment configuration (including design and configuration documentation).
- Work as part of a team and provide support any time when required
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Strong oral and written English and Arabic.
- Ability to work harmoniously as a member of a team.
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) is required.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Association) is ideal.
- Familiarity integrating Apple devices into a Windows environment.
- Demonstrated experience with network designs, network management integration and Gigabit related switching technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with routers, Switches, structured cabling equipment and related circuitry.
- Demonstrated experience working with Active Directory and Office 365 in PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- Knowledge of Web infrastructure.
- Software and hardware installation, maintenance, and upgrading skills.
- Professional experience with enterprise backup solutions.
- Ability to manage virus protection software (Kaspersky).
- Demonstrated experience with Fortigate Firewall and other internet filtering technologies (appliance or cloud-based).
- Proven troubleshooting experience for MS applications.
