Job Description

Job Brief:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Content Specialist  will be responsible to create high-traffic content (blog, video, social media, etc.), lead-converting resources, and shareable creative projects. You will be expected to sustain and develop the company's voice across all content and support all marketing stakeholders, including demand generation, sales enablement, public and analyst relations, community management, and channels/verticals. Goals include: attracting site traffic and social followers, driving new sales leads, empowering sales with relevant content to send prospects, and fueling PR and influencer relations.

This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategy and processes to scale content output.
  • Make data-driven decisions to move our content forward and hit company goals.
  • Create regular content to be marketed via all inbound channels (social, email, blog, landing pages, video, presentation, podcast, etc.).
  • Identifying key messages: understanding the main thing that you want the reader to feel and do and how to communicate this powerfully.
  • Serve as an evangelist for our message, brand, and content through thought leadership, blogging, social media, and speaking.
  • Ensure all marketing stakeholder needs are met.
  • Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing.
  • Manage agencies and freelancers. ( IT Bloggers )
  • Create free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, and awareness (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.).
  • Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our email subscribers.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them regular, helpful content that’s in-tune with their need.
  • Collaborate with designers, product marketing, businesss development, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in.
  • Research industry-related topics.
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
  • Knowing how to drive Call to Action through content writing and has a strong knowledge of main content KPIs and matrices such as (CPC, CTR and etc.)
  • Monthly Reporting.

Job Requirements

Skills:

  • Editorial : Content Specialist  needs to think like an author, curating content strands and editing pieces of content to ensure they are high quality, and relevant to users.
  • PR – Content Specialist  needs to be experienced publicists and campaign managers knowing what kind of publicity is sought and how to get it.
  • Market/Industry Knowledge : Good Content Specialist  will carefully tailor exciting new content to the needs of the audience in the context of that particular industry or product group. Content needs to be industry & job funstion specific, so that it does not exclude or offend key groups.
  • Technical : Content Specialist  also involves governance, migration planning, and technical issues related to integration into content management systems.
  • Strategic thinking : Content Specialist  is all about being holistic, so that the brand is not overshadowed by off-brand messages and ideas. Strategic thinking comes into play when all the strands of a cross channel campaign are managed together, with all marketing team members clear on why particular pieces of content are launched and the benefits they will deliver.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Content creator
  • Excellent written & spoke editing and proofreading skills in English & Arabic is a must
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Proven experience in IT/ software industry
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Strong research skills
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
  • Understanding of Traditional and Digital Marketing principles.
  • Proven and visible marketing veteran with experience creating content for the web across several media types and formats -- text, design, video, blog posts, podcasts, whitepapers, etc.
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
  • Experience in Content management systems such as WordPress CMS.
  • Previous Experience in Saudi Market is a Plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
