Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct regular quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations
- Design and implement quality control processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation and records
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality defects and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Provide training and support to team members on quality control processes and procedures
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure that our processes are in compliance with relevant standards
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical – Industrial – Chemical) or related field
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification
- Experience with quality management systems like ISO 9001
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with compliance standards specific to the industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a quality control role
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools, such as Six Sigma and ISO 9001
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
