Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes for facilities-related goods and services.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and maintain a robust supplier database.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support and guidance.
  5. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and monitor supplier compliance to ensure quality, delivery, and contractual obligations are met.
  6. Manage the procurement lifecycle, including requisitioning, sourcing, bidding, evaluation, selection, purchase order issuance, and contract administration.
  7. Monitor market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  8. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and optimize procurement outcomes.
  10. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior procurement team members.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar procurement role, preferably within the facilities management industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and industry trends.
  4. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost savings and value-added initiatives.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  6. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  9. Solid understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  10. Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) are desirable.
