Job Description
- Collect all literature related to products of concern.
- Performing instrument qualification, Following & updating any SOP for the instrument.
- Prepare samples for stability.
- Documentation and reporting of all formulation trials observations and results according to the predetermined procedures.
- Performing pilot trials and validation batches inside and outside as directed.
- Reporting any other event or observation concerning equipment, utility, method, product or procedure, and any other relevant item in the R&D department.
- Samples of the new products are sent to the marketing department to be tested by volunteers in focus groups. Ensure the implementation of HSE regulations.
- Prepare manufacturing procedure and bulk specification documents, along with approved reference samples to be shared with the QC department.
- Coding new formulas (combined code) & recorded in R&D Formula Tracking system (as per R&D coding protocol).
- Prepare daily reports for work achievements to be shared with the R&D Manager for regular follow-up.
- Prepare weekly reports for achievements to be shared with the R&D Manager.
- Regarding Samples request: reply to samples request sent to the R&D department weekly by preparing trials as requested with full detailed measurements.
- keep backup samples & reply with amendments requested by clients.
- Search for innovations & market trends, and conduct lab trials. and send samples for Marketing team assessment till receiving approval on the formula.
- Prepare updated documents (Trial forms & stability tables) daily to keep essential data.
- Follow up full accelerated stability study as per R&D stability protocol.
- Manage alternative raw materials (in case of raw material shortage).
- Follow up micro results, new raw materials purchasing & coding with concerned departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (Engineering/ Science).
- 1-3 years of experience in the same position (preferably relevant industry).
- Data Analyst, knowledge of Pharmaceutical Processes, and analytical thinker.
- Excellent English is written and spoken.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
