Job Description

Plans, organizes, directs, administers and manages & follow up all Safety, Health, Environment issues in the company, & advise management team in all aspects of safety, Health & Environment with strong focus on implementing Market-level initiatives including development & driving plants initiatives leading to continuous improvement in HSE performance in line with mind-set of zero incidents.

  • Develop & promote   HSE strategy, accidents reduction plans & initiatives.
  • Advise senior management regarding HSE policy and strategies for factories.
  • Develop HSE policies, procedures & risk assessment methods and support their implementation to enable managers to effectively achieve HSE performance objectives in their departments or comply with HSE regulations in order to reduce or mitigate activities associated risks /impacts.
  • Prepare in collaboration with management team & support of General Manager the HSE Operational Master Plan (OMP) & follow up implementation & report deviations.
  • Develop accidents prevention systems aligned with group directions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of HSE services & risk management throughout audits & act as HSE management lead auditor.
  • Review, evaluate & approve facilities changes and new projects regarding HSE to ensure that all HSE matters are considered during planning & design stages to eliminate negative HSE impacts.
  • Provide regular HSE information, data, analysis & annual projects to plants management leaders to support decision taken considering HSE performance improvement.
  • Develop a complete Emergency Response plan & ensure proper drills conducted.
  • Ensure proper FF & FA maintenance plans in place.
  • Prepare annual internal & external training plans for plants based on risk assessment.
  • Develop & Monitor safety KPI’s for incidents, internal audits, behavior-based safety (BBS), contractor management & tracking system for action plans.
  • Support the company in the contractor selection and prequalification.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of scientific practical.

Certificates:

  • NEBOSH Certificate/diploma
  • Machinery safety.
  • Lead Auditor in OHSAS 18K & ISO 14K
  • OSHA General Industries & construction.
  • First aid course

12-15 years relevant experience in HSE including at least 5 years in managerial positions.
