Job Description
Experienced STEAM instructors to teach classes of children aged 6-17 and adults. Our instructors are the gateway to teaching children in a fun and healthy environment. STEAM Instructors may have the possibility to teach classes to adults if they express interest.
Responsibilities:
- Start and end class in a punctual manner
- Teach class content, as directed and in a fun and safe way
- Teach and demonstrate safety rules, policies and etiquette
- Inspire and encourage children
- Promote STEAM programs/classes/camps at the end of class to parents
- Talk to children's parents and handle concerns
- Start and end class on time
- Teach class content, as directed

- Inspire and encourage members
- Promote special offers at the end of class
- Ability to build course content.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Desired Skills:
- The ideal candidates will have teaching experience, good interpersonal skills, and work well with many different kinds of children.
- Industry experience in instructional area
- Expert with embedded system development (Python, C, Java)
- Teaching experience, especially in Autodesk, Arduino, Raspberry pi and little bits
- Reliability
- Ability to work well with others and accommodate changing demands in a busy shop environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bachelor degree
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or mechatronics engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Knowledge of basic electronics
- Familiar with 2D and 3D design software
- Experience teaching children.
- CPR/first aid certifications, teaching certifications.
