Head Of Training - (American Football)

StatsBomb is willing to launch its American Football Data product in 2022, and as we're releasing the first versions of our data specs and collection app, we're planning to build a team of data collectors in order to start collecting games and help us testing our collection app and collecting games. We're looking for a person to fill the head of training of American Football position who will hire and train that collection team.

The Head of American Football Training holds a strategic role, overseeing the creation of content, e-learning, collateral, and other training materials that will impact behavior-changing training using various training theories inclusive of job aids, facilitator and participant guides, on-the-job training systems, tutorials, and demonstration models.

Responsibilities and Objectives:

• The Head of American Football Training holds a strategic role, he/she will have full ownership of the collection product training process, by designing the training program for the data specs and the collection product and delivering it to the new collectors.
• He/She will be responsible for overseeing, the creation of educational content, collateral, and other training materials that will impact product knowledge training and keeping it up to date.
• Hiring and interviewing of the first group of collectors to stand on the calibers required for data collection roles and what backgrounds they should have.
• The Head of AMF Training will play an analytical role where he/she conducts ongoing assessments of training and development programs. He will be tasked with the creation of testing and evaluation processes of the effectiveness of training programs.
• The Head of Training and Development is also responsible for maintaining knowledge in the department, keeping it up to date with the latest training practices, trends, and technology. He will learn, document, and share best practices with the collection and product teams.
