Job Description
Responsibilities entail, but are not limited to, the following:
- To contribute to the growth and profitability of BASF Construction Chemicals Egypt (SAE) by providing high-quality technical services to customers, prospective customers, sales and technical personnel.
- To make our customers more successful by providing technical site support and promoting technical solutions based on BASF products.
- To develop existing Applicators by implementing suitable training programs and identify new Applicators across the product segments.
- To coordinate with the marketing and sales department to deliver seminars, product launches and technical workshops for internal as well as external customers.
- To support Marketing/Sales with technical advice, product bench-marking and product samples.
- To liaise with the Local and Regional Development team with regards to the development of new and/or improved CS products and their application.
- To establish routes and methods of Know-How Transfer (KHT) within the company and distributors on all technical matters.
- To work jointly with the CS Sales Managers, CS Sales team, and technical department to deliver Business Key Performance Indicators.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Materials Science/Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of construction chemicals/materials testing and construction and building practices
- 7 years of experience in an MNC environment, of which 5 years are in technical service and engineering and or site experience.
- Strong Problem-solving capability
- Ability to research and keep up to date with latest computerized communication techniques
- Analytical thinking and ability to grasp overall situations
- Excellent hands-on skills
- Presentation and interpersonal
- Able to seek and act upon value-adding opportunities for collaboration within and across units.
- Able to communicate with openness, clarity, organizational awareness and empathy to achieve the desired results.
