Job Description
- Reports to principle Engineer nominated by Department Manager in accordance with the work program of the project and the corporate schemes.
- Prepare specifications for projects.
- Organizes and supervises the work of engineers allocated to him and provides support to other project technical teams as directed by the Project Manager.
- Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Department Manager.
Job Requirements
- Good Knowledge of /and to be able to apply international regulation governing the requirements of specifications writing systems
- Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, and Word Processing Software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels
- Strong analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, team-player skills
- Ability to transfer knowledge to others in the design and preparation of drawings, specifications and estimates to use in the course of design
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directives
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organisation
